Search Lake County Court Records

Lake County search fields are broader than a simple name lookup
The current court portal supports fields including case number, name, date of birth, driver’s-license number, Sheriff’s number, citation number, incident number, arrest date, attorney bar number and booking number.
Some cases and images are restricted
Access to court images depends on the record type and the user’s access level. Sealed and expunged cases are not available to public users.
Lake County Sheriff Reports and Calls for Service
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Central Records Department processes incident reports, citations and traffic-crash records and helps the public obtain incident reports, calls-for-service records and local record checks.

Traffic crash reports use another system
The Sheriff’s Office directs traffic-crash report purchases to the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles crash portal rather than treating them like ordinary incident-report copies.
Search Lake County Property Records
The Lake County Property Appraiser’s LC PARS system is designed for parcel and assessment research. It can show owner and address information, Alternate Key, parcel number, legal description, lot size, building details, exemptions, prior sales and Official Record book/page references.

Property data is updated nightly
The Property Appraiser states that property data is updated nightly. The office also provides dedicated sales searches, downloadable annual sales files and GIS/tax-map tools.
Property Appraiser public-record requests
For ordinary parcel information, a formal public-record request is usually unnecessary because most property information is already available online. The Property Appraiser lists Customer Care at 352-253-2150 for assistance.
Search Lake County Deeds, Mortgages and Liens
The Lake County Clerk maintains Official Records such as deeds, mortgages, liens, plats, notices of commencement and other recorded documents.

The Department of Health identifies VitalChek as its recommended online certificate vendor. Vendor charges can differ from direct county Health Department fees.
Request Lake County Records That Are Not Online
The correct request route depends on the custodian. Clerk records, Sheriff’s records, Property Appraiser data and Tax Collector records are maintained by separate offices.
